AZTEC: A Coordinate Geometry Program (COGO Software)
Produced by BSQUARED SURVEYING SOFTWARE LTD.
June 5, 2021: We are still open & shipping.
THE BASICS: Aztec is a text-based (not CAD based) coordinate geometry program for engineers and land surveyors which is designed to be very easy to use. If you have done calcs before, then you will have no problem using Aztec. No installation is required - you can just run the single executable file from any Windows computer. Updates are free.
For those of you who are familiar with a CAD program, Aztec also has the ability to both export coordinate points to your favorite CAD program for processing, as well as to import them back into Aztec when you are done. This feature allows you, if you so choose, to enjoy the benefits of the best of both calculation worlds.
You can click on the "Technical Specifications" link at either the top or bottom of this page to get an overview of what Aztec can do.
Aztec was originally designed for land surveyors and their staff. But over the last few years, Aztec has proven to be also popular with engineers. Clients include people in both private practice and government agencies within the USA and Canada.
If you want to learn more about Aztec, click on the "Watch Video" link on this page. This will allow you to view a short video which will give you an overview of the program.
You can also click on the "Free Download" link on this page to download a free demo of the program. This is a fully functional copy of Aztec, although it is restricted to 10 coordinate points.
You can purchase Aztec by paying a one time fee of $395 USD plus any applicable taxes. You will then be shipped (at no cost to you) a USB key which will allow you to run Aztec on any computer that you choose (as long as this key is plugged into the computer). This key will also contain the Aztec program file (it is one executable file).
Technical support and updates are free.
If you feel that there is a calculation which the program should be able to perform, we would be pleased to receive your input.
